Once upon a time, there were two best friends, Maria and Sarah, and they lived – not sorrowfully, in a cozy little apartment with their pet bird named Speedy. Speedy was a beautiful bird with shiny brown feathers, and he always chirped and twittered throughout the house, delighting the girls with his cheerful personality.
One bright sunny morning, Maria was cleaning the apartment while Sarah was preparing breakfast, and as they went about their morning routines, they left the windows open to let in the fresh air.
Suddenly, Speedy flew out of the window and disappeared in an unknown direction. The girls were worried and quickly rushed out onto the street to search for him.
They searched the entire residential complex, but Speedy was nowhere to be found. The friends were very upset and didn’t know what to do. They went to the nearby park and asked people if they had seen Speedy, but nobody had any information.
It is said that after that incident, several years have passed and the girls have grown up, but the emotional trauma remained with them forever. And every time these women meet, they subconsciously listen on the streets for chirping, hoping to find their Speedy.
