A rather intriguing riddle has caught our eye. This picture was found in a very old newspaper. The newspaper itself was discovered in the basement of a private house built in 1910.
Certainly, the circulation of the newspaper was quite large for those times, and it’s possible that the picture or illusion has survived in more than one copy. The newspaper itself was called the “Odessa Herald.”

Nothing particularly special, just a soldier in a military uniform, gazing into the distance. The thing is, he (the soldier) arranged to meet his comrade exactly at 12:00 in the square.
The soldier is peering into the distance, hoping to find his comrade.
And now the riddle itself. The artist claims that in the picture, there are not one, but two men – the soldier and his comrade. Can you find the second man in the picture? Where is he?
