Twila, a retiree from The Woodlands, Texas, has chosen to live in a specially designed tiny home as part of an unusual and economical retirement strategy. She and her husband made the decision to relocate from their conventional three-bedroom home to a modest house in East Tennessee after she retired at the age of sixty-five.

The desire to live a simpler life and spend less time and energy on house care motivated this decision. They are now fulfilling their dreams. After coming across Amazing Tiny Homes on YouTube, the couple started organizing their new home.

After paying, they witnessed their imaginary house take shape in less than four months from the time they drew it on paper.

Their 10×8 home was specially created with unique lighting and windows, and it cost approximately $56,000. It is situated in “The Forest,” one of Incredible Tiny Homes’ four subdivisions. Living in ‘The Forest’ community, their monthly payment is a reasonable $225, which covers water and sewer services.

An additional $125 is spent a month on things like internet and power. Twila’s ambition of living close to the Smoky Mountains is made possible by their economical way of life. Her taste is evident in her little home, a 10×8 Liberty-style dwelling with copper metal cladding and a roof.
