At the 2013 World Championships in tumbling, the British acrobat Christoph Willerton showed something that defies the laws of gravity. As I watched him perform, it seemed to me that he was just floating above the track. But the most amazing part of the number was waiting for the audience at the very end, when the acrobat did a double somersault practically from the spot! I had no idea that the human body could do that. Just amazing strength and dexterity!
Christophe is a 20-year-old student studying biochemistry at Oxford. He became the first Briton to win a gold medal at the World Championships in tumbling.
Not surprisingly, the athlete received first place for his incredible performance. His talent is simply amazing.
