If we’ve had our senses for a long time, it’s easy to take them for granted, especially our eyesight and hearing. We should have more reminders to appreciate them every single day. A tiny boy’s visual issues were unexpectedly resolved, giving him the gift of a lifetime.
Christian has vision impairments from birth. But since all newborns have blurry vision, Christian’s ailment was not identified right away. Fortunately for Christian, his inability to make eye contact with them at the age of three months led his parents to conclude that he wasn’t seeing well.

The little boy’s doctor prescribed a specific kind of baby glasses after they took him to the doctor. Babies’ soft plastic glasses are safer than adult glasses made of the same materials.
Christian initially found it difficult to accept the glasses and didn’t like them at first. But as he became aware of how they affected his vision, he was able to get used to them and ended up loving them!
