For many young children, one of their dreams is to appear on a big stage and demonstrate their talent. Some of them want to become a professional musician. Few people, nevertheless, possess the skill to make it succeed as it requires so much hard work.
Cora Harkin, who tried out for Ireland’s Got Talent during its inaugural season back in 2018, is one of those fortunate few who is both talented and hard working. With her amazing voice for singing she was already poised to become a famous singer.
On the popular program Ireland’s Got Talent, 9-year-old Cora made her vocal debut by performing the Barbra Streisand hit song Don’t Rain On My Parade and left everyone impressed. The energy was insane in the audience too! They adored her from the first minutes.
At the end of Cora’s performance, all four judges stood to offer her a standing ovation, indicating how delighted they were with her. Michelle Visage complimented the young child profusely, expressing particular pride in the performance.
When the camera panned backstage to reveal Cora’s parents’ radiant smiles, it was one of the cutest parts of the performance. Seeing their pride in their daughter was quite moving. Imagine their feelings!
